Kids Yoga Parties
Yoga birthday parties, are a healthy alternative to video games! After we have learned each other's names,
children go through a gentle warm-up to ensure they are working safely. Then begins a journey of the imagination,
using whatever theme your child has chosen. Children are introduced to yoga poses and movements
in a non-competitive, fun-focussed way, ensuring they are comfortable with what they are doing at all times.
Children are encouraged to enter into the role of beetle, snake, tree, crain, cat, dog etc when they adopt
the pose/movement. In this way they have the thrill of losing themselves in a character and
express themselves in a free and creative way. Once the session is underway, children invent their own poses/movements.
Older children in particular can get really carried away with this and take great pleasure in discovering how they can use their bodies to
express all manner of animate and inanimate things!
Yoga and Art Camp
Engaging hands-on workshops and experiences. High-caliber instruction and leadership by dedicated counselor- teachers and visiting professional faculty. A summer program for teens that allows room for choice and self direction. An emphasis on the integration of body, mind and spirit. Kiddie Camp and Teen Camp offer everything children and parents would expect from a Summer Camp, plus a surprising array of confidence-building, camp activities. Children build confidence and self-esteem through fun and exciting activities. Through Yoga, they will learn new ways to move. Yoga in the Park
Take some time out to connect with yourself, relax and de-stress. Increase your flexibility while absorbing the morning sun and fresh air in the park. Enjoy the benefits of yoga, breathing techniques and relaxation which each class offers in a relaxed, non-competitive environment. Classes are designed to suit a broad range of age groups and levels of experience, with the teachers bringing their own style to each park.
