  • Beginner Class

    This is a class of easy yoga posture for people new to yoga. The class includes instruction in basic poses or asanas, alignments, breathing techniques and relaxation. No prior yoga experience necessary. For everyone to experience overall health, well-being and a greater connection to their Spirit. Transformation begins from the inside out.

    Level I Class

    Designed for beginners, Level One will both soothe and strengthen. We'll work on joint mobility, range of movement, basic standing and sitting postures, while emphasizing structural alignment and the freedom of breath. Individual allowances are made to accommodate any differences in physicality, as well as any pain resulting from stiffness, weakness and injury. Level One classes are completely suitable for more advanced practitioners. Far from being "easy", they will allow you to apply yourself more deeply to fundamental postural technique.

    Level II Class

    This more rigorous class that covers all movements and postures that are key to the three pillars of flexibility, strength, and balance. Special emphasis will be placed on alignment, straightening and relaxing. Classical Sun salutations and balance postures allow the breath and the mind begin to function with greater ease as the organs relax and detoxify. Includes inversions and arm balancing.

    Restorative Yoga

    This class is ideal for the student recovering from short or long-term injuries, or the student who is managing a medical condition. It's also a great class for every yoga student who just wants to relax, be still, and let the body find its own suppleness and peace. This style of Yoga makes use of props such as blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters and wedges to put the body in position to receive the full healing power of the posture.

    Mixed level and Meditiation

    Meditation draws us deep inside to the well-spring of peace and strength that exists within us all. The meditation sessions are free and open to anyone. You do not need to attend the class prior to the meditation, although asana practice is a wonderful preparation prior to meditation. This class begins with fundamental asanas that prepare the body for meditation. A variety of techniques will be taught from the Buddhist, Kabbalistic and Christian traditions. Proper preparation for meditation will be given (breath control, affirmation, setting of intention), as well as help through obstacles of meditation, such as racing thoughts. These instructions are fundamental to establishing a regular home practice.

    Private Lessons An opportunity to have one-on-one yoga instruction. Evaluate where you are in your practice and get personalized instruction to help you move forward. For new students, this is an optimal way to learn the basic elements of yoga at your own pace and to get all your questions answered. For those with physical challenges, your private lesson teaches you how to modify your practice at home and in a group setting.
